JFF ONLINE 2024 will run from Wednesday 5 June to Wednesday 3 July 2024, divided into 2 segments:
- From Wednesday 5 June to Wednesday 19 June: 23 films
- From Wednesday 19 June to Wednesday 3 July: 2 TV dramas
You'll enjoy a wide range of films from classics to drama, horror, animation and documentaries in the first 2 weeks, followed by 2 popular TV drama series in the second half of the festival.
Most of the festival films are classified as G according to the Japanese classification, suitable for all ages, but a few are classified as PG12, requiring parental guidance for children under 12.
Subtitles are available for all films in as many as 16 languages (including English, Malay and Chinese), so all you have to do is create a free account and start watching!

The short life of MIYAZAWA Kenji, a nationally-renowned Japanese author, told from the perspective of his father. A moving family drama featuring two of Japan's top actors YAKUSHO Koji and SUDA Masaki.
