Explore the many stalls selling popular delicacies such as Jeruk Lada (chili pickles), Sambal Tuhau Ikan Masin (spicy wild ginger with salted fish) and Murtabak Tawau (savory stuffed flatbread). Enjoy a taste of authentic Sabah cuisine and a lively market atmosphere!
Exhibitions and Craft Highlights
Visit traditional houses to see unique displays from local organizations such as Green Lab & Borneo Reptiles, the Wildlife Park, Rembulan Tattoo Studio, Rungus Momogun, the Natural History Museum and more. Each exhibit offers a glimpse into the artistry, creativity and heritage of Sabah's indigenous groups, providing a rich learning experience for all ages.
Alongside these exhibits, you'll find a wide selection of handicrafts that reflect the beauty and diversity of Sabah's cultural identity.
Exciting line-up of performances
Join us for dynamic performances by some of Sabah's most celebrated artists including Masmona, Jesseltone D'Folk, Dendang Borneo, Tuni Sundatang, Suara Buluh Perindu, Aspirasi Semporna, Tompuvan and many more.
The excitement continues with a special performance by TikTok artist Leles Koronob, who will light up the stage with his unique talent.
Admission Fees
The Museum Festival welcomes everyone with accessible entry fees, payable in cash only:

- Foreign visitors (adult): RM15
- Children under 12 years: FREE
- Persons with special needs: FREE
- Students (with valid student ID): FREE
- Seniors (55 years and older): FREE

Masmona
Don't miss your chance to see Sabah's very own renowned band Masmona perform live! This six-piece band has already released 4 singles and will soon release their first album.
Tuni Sundatang
Meet Tuni Sundatang, a vibrant collective of young enthusiasts from the foothills of Mount Kinabalu in Ranau. United by a shared passion for preserving nearly extinct traditional customs and village cultures, they embarked on their musical journey in 2021. Composed of researchers, sundatang boatlute makers and musicians, Tuni Sundatang weaves captivating stories through instrumental tracks that showcase the richness of local customs, traditions and culture. Immerse yourself in the unique sounds of their traditional music and join them in celebrating the essence of their heritage.
Suara Buluh Perindu
The members of Suara Buluh Perindu started playing music at a young age, between the ages of 6 and 7. Originally from Kundasang, Ranau, Sabah, they grew up with various traditional musical instruments and the sound of the payuki flute, which inspired the group. Accompanied by the harmony of sompoton instruments, bamboo kulintangon bamboo, bamboo drums, bamboo bass, all made from raw materials of the environment in the windy state of Sabah. The harmony of sound of this music is unique and always amazes the listeners.
Tompuvan
Embark on a musical odyssey with Tompuvan, a 7-piece band that serves as a cultural mosaic of Borneo's diverse tribes. Each member proudly represents different indigenous communities including the Iban, Rungus, Sungai, Kagayan, Tidung and Bajau. Tompuvan seamlessly blends traditional and modern instruments from Borneo, offering a harmonious fusion of sape/sakafi, tungkungon, kulintangan, bamboo flute, sompoton, drums, percussion, saxophone, electric and bass guitar, bamboo rainstick and more.
