The event is organized by the Sabah Cultural Arts and Culture Image Association (PCSEYA) and will be held at the Sabah State Department of Culture and Arts Auditorium Complex.

The Iranun people, an indigenous group living in the southwestern regions of Mindanao in the Philippines, have a rich cultural heritage. Known as skilled sailors and shipbuilders, they have also migrated to Sabah, Malaysia, settling in districts such as Kota Belud, Lahad Datu, Kudat and Kota Kinabalu.
Today, Iranun culture is celebrated through vibrant art, music, dance and storytelling, blending traditional elements with Islamic practices. The community continues to preserve their heritage through crafts such as weaving and beadwork, and their cultural performances, such as Mengayau, offer a captivating insight into their rich history and traditions.
