E-waste collection event
Dispose of your electronics responsibly
Do you have unwanted electronics taking up space? It's time to recycle them the right way.
The Sabah Computer Society is organising an e-waste collection drive on 23 and 24 November 2024 (from 9am to 3pm) to provide a convenient way to dispose of old electronic and electrical items responsibly. This initiative aims to promote sustainability and reduce the environmental impact of e-waste by ensuring proper recycling.
In partnership with Legenda Bumimas Sdn Bhd, the event will also provide an opportunity to exchange used car batteries for cash. (Please refer to the attached poster for a list of accepted battery types and fees).
What to bring?
- Old electronics (phones, computers, televisions, etc.)
- Electrical appliances (fridges, fans, radios, etc.)
- Car batteries (paid in cash by Legenda Bumimas Sdn Bhd)
Why participate?
- Help reduce e-waste and protect the environment.
- Ensure proper disposal of old electronic equipment.
- Get cash for car batteries.
Take this opportunity to clean up your act and contribute to a greener, more sustainable future.
