The KKIFF
Since 2009, the Kota Kinabalu International Film Festival (KKIFF) has been bringing international movies to Sabah, promoting emerging regional filmmakers, and training young people for the film industry.
All screenings start at the scheduled times. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start.

Echoes To The Deepest Grain
"Echoes to the Deepest Grain" follows Memeto Jack, a woodcut artist from the Pangrok Sulap Collective, as she creates art that amplifies the voices of marginalised women and stateless girls. She and Pangrok Sulap work with Borneo Komrad, the NGO that runs the school, to create artworks and performances that address sensitive issues such as gender equality and sexual harassment within the stateless community, drawing inspiration directly from the students of Semporna Alternative School and demonstrating the transformative power of art.

The peace and tranquillity of a remote highland village is shattered when a long-kept secret, guarded by the entire community, is unwittingly revealed by an outsider.
