Reggae Hub Kota Kinabalu is proud to host Borneo's first ever Reggae Music Festival in honour of the 43rd anniversary of Bob Marley's legacy. The festival is a celebration of the unity, peace and love so dear to the artist.
There will be free cocktails, exciting competitions, live DJ sets, and great performances from Borneo's top solo artists.

A legendary musician and a cultural icon
Bob Marley is best known for popularizing reggae music worldwide. Born in 1945, his music was infused with themes of love, social justice, and spirituality, earning him immense global acclaim.
Bob Marley succumbed to illness on 11 May 1981 at the age of 36.
With timeless hits like No Woman, No Cry, Get Up, Stand Up and One Love, Marley's music continues to inspire generations with its infectious rhythms.
Beyond music, Marley's advocacy for peace and unity made him a symbol of hope and resilience, leaving an indelible mark on the world.
