The KKIFF
Since 2009, the Kota Kinabalu International Film Festival (KKIFF) has been bringing international movies to Sabah, promoting emerging regional filmmakers, and training young people for the film industry.
All screenings start at the scheduled times. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start.

Mondou
The film revolves around a group of Borneo Ranger soldiers who are involved in a battle in Matunggong, Sabah, in the 1940s. In an attempt to escape the conflict, they take a prisoner called Lakisan into the forest. There they face local enemies and an ethical dilemma when Lakisan reveals the danger of the area. As they try to escape the forest, they encounter supernatural beings, a mysterious woman dressed in black and Mondou. There are unexpected and frightening experiences that reveal secrets and supernatural forces that change the fate of the group.
Will You Come Up?
Hyuk, whose life crashed due to one wrong choice, works as an apartment security guard. He’s in a nightmare situation that puts him to the test again.
What choice will he make this time?
Indigo
Indigo, a stuttering university student, finds a magic cubicle in the toilets that takes him back in time. After abusing this power to improve his speech problem, Indigo gets lost in time and experiences the history of student activism in his university from the 1970s to the 2000s. This film aims to rediscover historical narratives in the current political situation of the Philippines - another Marcos regime - and in the face of historical revisionism.
Breaking The Stigma
This film is about a young Asian man struggling as he chooses his gender as female but finds that he is rejected by society.
Everyday Noise
Ayu, a customer service employee who is also a single mom, had to pay her mother's rent arrears but her salary is paid late. When she confronts her boss about this, she accidentally reveals dark facts in her workplace.
The Fourth Man
She's a single woman trying to find 'love' – and it might be in the most unexpected place.
Three Parts Of Life
Samira is a grandmother who has lived three parts of her life: first, with her daughter who married and converted; then with the death of her husband; and now at the end with loneliness.
