The KKIFF
Since 2009, the Kota Kinabalu International Film Festival (KKIFF) has been bringing international movies to Sabah, promoting emerging regional filmmakers, and training young people for the film industry.
All screenings start at the scheduled times. Please arrive at least 20 minutes before the start.

A Misfit Tiger
The Malaysian father, Beng Soon, comes to Taiwan to investigate the disappearance of his son, Kah Choon. During the process, he gradually realizes his lack of understanding towards Kah Choon, while at the same time discovering the changes in his son.
Unbroken Ties
In the 1990s, Min, an orphaned Burmese, gets a US diversity visa to go to the States. Taken in by a mixed San Francisco group on the fringes of society, including his childhood friend, Min does all he can to get a job. Finally, working for a Myanmar charity group, buried revelations come up, sowing mistrust.
This movie celebrates the resilience of immigrants, mothers and the LGBTQA community, shining a light on the global struggles of orphans and minorities. This heartfelt portrayal of hope and the indomitable human spirit celebrates unyielding determination.
