Craft Exotica
Background
This program is one of the Sabah Museum's activities held to popularize Sabah's cultural heritage, especially the making of handicrafts and local traditional games. The Crafts Exotica program starts in July every year.
Program Objectives
The objective of the Program is to promote understanding and spread awareness about local cultural heritage, especially traditional handicrafts and traditional games produced by various ethnic groups.
In this regard, various activities will be carried out, among which demonstrations of handicraft production such as textile production, embroidery, weaving of various objects (baskets, household items and small furniture).
Visitors will also be able to discover traditional games and attend demonstrations of traditional musical instruments.
Exciting gifts will be offered to some lucky Sabah Museum visitors.
